Professional Development Programs for CPAs
Markets have shifted and change has changed. This means that there are new opportunities for CPAs to expand their influence and increase their impact on the organizations that they serve...but how and in what arenas? CPAs today are being asked to provide advice and insight on the financial and non-financial performance of an organization's operational and strategic processes through broad business knowledge and judgment. CPAs are being looked to as Management Consultants for the organizations they serve. The Consulting for Impact series is designed to help CPAs develop a consulting perspective and framework for analyzing specific business problems, developing impactful, implementable solutions, and achieving results.
All workshops are offered nationally to State CPA Societies as part of their continuing education program and to corporations and firms for in-house use.

Steven E. Frohman Applied Synergistics, Inc. - ASISpecializing in Organizational Development Consulting Steven E. Frohman is a speaker, consultant, business owner and president of Applied Synergistics, Inc. Steve has worked extensively with CPA societies, where his leadership series has consistently received top ratings. He also works with state societies in the areas of board development, staff development, and leadership-related programs. Previously, Steve spent 23 years with IBM in management and senior management and staff positions. His career included responsibility for the design and delivery of leadership and management development programs used throughout the corporation as well as other development programs for employees within IBM and its customer executives. Youll find his opinions quoted in such publications as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Chicago Tribune reflecting on critical issues facing todays businesses. His thought-provoking keynotes and seminars provide insightful and systematic strategies for dealing with the challenges and opportunities associated with change. Additionally, Steve's broad-based experience includes owning and operating small service and manufacturing businesses and consulting with a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
William L. Reeb, CPA Winters, Winters, and Reeb Specializing in Management Consulting William Reeb is a partner in the CPA firm Winters, Winters and Reeb. Bill been consulting for 17 years to all sizes of businesses, from Mom and Pop operations to Fortune 100 companies. As an entrepreneur, Bill founded seven small businesses. As an award-winning author, Bill is nationally published, with over 200 columns and articles on a variety of management topics. He has recently written the third edition of his book on consulting, called Start Consulting; How to Walk the Talk, published by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) in the US and by the Certified General Accountants (CGA) in Canada. Bill is an award-winning public speaker and lectures throughout the U.S. to thousands of executives and CPAs each year. He has been featured on a number of video-taped and live television programs. Reeb currently Chairs the AICPA Consulting Services Team and the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA) Technology Oversite Committee. He is also a member of the TSCPA's Executive Committee. |
